"We absolutely loved our stay here! We loved everything about the island itself and our overnight stay in this traditional style home made it even better. The sushi meal provided by our host was such a great experience and so yummy. He was the loveliest host and even took us for a walk to see all the beautiful sites at night. Can’t thank you enough. It truly was one of the most memorable parts of our holiday. "

Having come to Japan to immerse myself in the language and culture, this was disappointing. "A cute, clean experience in a typical Japanese Ryokan! The onson was lovely even though its in the basement with no view. Oddly, there were very few restaurants on the island open for dinner. We did find an excellent local one. The beat part was the view of the harbour and hike and tram up the mountain!!!"

City buses are available too at a cost and not that frequent. If you take the street cart, there is a 1km walk to the property.
