(1,009 reviews) While it seemed like a nice hotel from the pictures and the advertisement through Expedia it is very outdated. The rooms while they were a decent size again it was very outdated. The hotel is situated near the Atlanta underground, which used to be a popular area to visit, but is now very rundown and full of homeless people in the area walking around and sleeping. I would not recommend walking around that area at night unless you’re traveling in a group. The valet staff were very accommodating and kind. The front desk staff, although there were some issues with overcharging they explained to me how it works. My bank also confirmed that they put a pre-authorization hold on top of your total cost of your stay and on top of the separate charge that you have to do for incidentals. The gentleman that I spoke with at checkout was very kind as well as very knowledgeable. It could be a very beautiful hotel if it was updated. They do not do housekeeping until you check out. And there was a bit of a wait to get fresh towels and extra bedding for the pullout couch (we had to go downstairs and collect it ourselves). They do not offer room service and have a very limited market in the lobby. Room view was stunning. Love how you needed a key to access elevators to room floor. Bed was super comfy and cozy. Bathroom, very clean and the hand soap smells superb. Room service: Fast, easy to order, fresh, and delicious. Checkout: Easy 🔥Highly recommend. Keep in mind there is a holding fee upon arrival which includes valet and other services such as room service (unless you opt to pay separately as we did) whatever is unused, will return back to card.
