We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Podere Maria Lena. The house is situated in an incredibly beautiful spot on a mountainside, surrounded by the most breathtaking Tuscan countryside. At the same time, it’s just a short drive to the nearest grocery store, and the area offers several lovely walks. The charming stone house stayed pleasantly cool on the hot summer days, and we had everything we needed during our stay. The pool was without a doubt the best we’ve ever experienced—sparkling clean every morning and perfect for a refreshing dip. We were greeted with great hospitality. They were always ready with good advice and help, and the hosts’ sheep, which live right next door, spoiled us during our stay with freshly baked bread, vegetables from the garden, and cake. Podere Maria Lena is a place where you can truly find peace, enjoy nature, and experience the authentic Tuscan atmosphere. We returned home with many wonderful memories and can only offer our warmest recommendations.

It is a very carefully restored house situated in beautiful surroundings with views of small villages. The house is well-appointed and has a lovely covered terrace that we used all the time. The garden is lovely, and the pool area is wonderful—we used it frequently as well.
