The place looks nice. Unfortunately we were sleeping when I heard my wife coughing really bad I started coughing. A really strong odor like carbon monoxide we got out immediately and wet direct to costumer service. To make it short we were moved to another room. We didn’t sleep we left our own pillows cases in the other room which of course disappeared. On top cockroach
The staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating. We arrived early and they had someone clean a room and allowed us to check in 3 hours early. We went down to the restaurant right at the time the kitchen closed and they kept the kitchen and dining open so we could have dinner. They offered us a great deal on a rental car with a driver that took us to Copan Ruinas for the day. The pools are shared with the hotel next to it, but it was worth the walk over. We ended up extending our stay by a day.
