No AC or ceiling fan
Our room was filled with hot, stagnant air during the last few days of May. Large open windows did not bring in a breeze and couldn't be left open at night due to mosquitos. The AC was obviously working in the rest of the hotel as the common area outside our hallway was about 7 degrees cooler. Our thermostat seemed to be working but the air would not kick on. When I inquired at the front desk, I was told the AC was not working because "it is May." With no ceiling fan, I was forced to go to a local hardware shop and purchase a stand fan for 35 euros. Even with this rotating over us at night, my daughter and I had trouble sleeping on top of the covers. FYI, we are from south Texas and are not wimps when it comes to heat. I wish I would have known when booking that it was up to management whether or not I could have air flow in my room. On a separate note, their TV menus are locked so that you cannot switch the audio or subtitles to another language; they are permanently set on Italian.

Good location near the main street of Chioggia. Excellent price. Very friendly owners/staff. Excellent breakfast included (though not stated as included on Expedia). Lift worked well. Room was very clean, comfortable bed, good shower/toilet room. Good wifi. I suggested to the owners that a bedside light would be handy and they will arrange that. The shower gel/soap dispenser was by the sink but no dispenser in the shower cubicle itself. Space limitations perhaps. I would happily stay again in this little hotel:)

Una deliziosa struttura affacciata sul canale. Situato in posizione perfetta per ogni tipo di spostamento. Accessibile e alla mano. Personale gentilissimo e a disposizione per ogni informazione. Ben fornito e con parcheggio abbastanza facile da trovare.

Im Herzen von Chioggia
Ein sauberes Haus im Zentrum von Chioggia, aufmerksam geführt. Unser Doppelzimmer war einfach möbliert, das Bad ausreichend groß und sauber. Frühstück war (auch Virus-bedingt) sehr italienisch aber in Ordnung. Die drei Sterne sind angemessen, die Mitarbeiter hilfsbereit und freundlich. Wenn man nicht gerade nach Luxus sucht ist man hier gut aufgehoben. In der Umgebung gibt es auch sehr gute Restaurants und Osterie!

..questo è già il secondo anno che soggiorno a Domus Clugiae, la prima volta per tre giorni questo agosto sono invece riuscita a rimanere per sei notti. Il personale, a partire dal Direttore, è fantastico, accogliente, gentile e disponibile. Stanze molto pulite e colazione varia e ottima! Dista a venti minuti a piedi dalla prima spiaggia di Sottomarina ed è invece attaccato al centro di Chioggia, magnifico. Consiglio a tutti!!

Buona struttura in ottima posizione
Struttura buona in posizione centrale e ottimale per chi intende visitare Chioggia. Servizio adeguato e puntuale. Unica nota stonata rispetto al costo è stata la colazione: qualità e varietà deludenti. Nel complesso è stato un soggiorno soddisfacente.
