"Hotel itself is an older building but has had some work done. Our deluxe king room with balcony/patio (all ground level rooms) was spacious & clean with large separate bathroom. With nice weather took advantage to sit outside and enjoy. On the Mayday Hills grounds so nice and quiet at night. Rang ahead to check on the bbq and it was ready for us during the stay. The walk back from town is uphill but very manageable. Would recommend."

"Although the bed was clean, the room had a strong musty smell. The floors, tables, surfaces appeared unclean. The bath and sink did not drain properly, and the bed was very uncomfortable."
