About this property
Secluded Log Cabin Bordering National Forest - 45 Minutes to Crater Lake
Handcrafted, secluded, and surrounded by timber. This log cabin sits on 1.5 private acres with the Fremont-Winema National Forest as your backyard, giving you thousands of acres to explore right off the porch. The exposed beams and ridgepole overhead set the tone the moment you walk in: this is a real cabin, not a cabin-themed rental.
Spend your mornings with coffee on the covered porch and your afternoons at the Sprague River, an easy half-mile walk away, for swimming and fishing. No traffic, no neighbors, no noise. Just trees.
This is also a place built for disconnecting. There's no WiFi, and cell service is limited to Verizon. Guests tell us every season that it's the best part of the stay, the boss can't reach you, the kids stop staring at their phones, and everyone actually talks to each other again. If that sounds like exactly what you need, keep reading. If you need to stay reachable for work, this isn't the cabin for that week.
On The Property: * Horseshoe pit * Hammock area * Three-hole disc golf course * 50-foot zip line for the kids * Cornhole * Rubber axe throwing (a guest favorite) * Gas BBQ and picnic table * Loft stocked with games for rainy days or after dark
Getting Around: * Crater Lake: 45 minutes to the park entrance * Spring Creek: 37 minutes * KLA-MO-YA Casino: 26 minutes * Klamath Falls: 51 minutes
Good To Know: This cabin runs on solar power with battery backup, plus an automatic backup generator for low-sun stretches. Most weeks, guests never hear the generator run at all. See our house rules for details on WiFi, cell service, and power use.
There's no charging of electric vehicles at the cabin, but there is a public EV charging station in town at 1st Avenue and Schonchin Street in Chiloquin, next to the community center and library.

We loved the cabin! It was very comfortable and just as described. We enjoyed the peace and quiet away from city life and played all the fun yard games and board games! We had no issues while we were there and would highly recommend a stay! The hostess was very friendly and communicative before our trip!
We all hated having to check out of this beautiful cabin in the woods! We had a comfortable, relaxing, fun filled weekend. We played horse shoes, board games, went swimming nearby, and had a day trip to Crater Lake. This home had everything we needed and more. We can’t wait to come back!
This place was awesome! Just as described in the description. The home has tons of games to play indoors, and many activities to do outside as well. You will never know you are off the grid with all the activities they have for you to do. This is a great place to take the family and unplug for a while. They kitchen has all the dishes you will ever need to make great meals and enjoy some time away with your family. The cellphone service was spotty on the way to the property, but we did have service with Verizon once we arrived at the cabin (exactly how the host stated our service would be). One piece of advice for anyone looking to stay here, they do have a TV, and you can plug your cell phone into the TV to stream using your cell phone service. The cord to plug in the TV is an old apple lightening cord. We have newer apple phones and there was no way to plug in our phones with a USB C cord, so if you have a newer iPhone you might want to look into bringing an adapter. To be honest there was so much to do at this cabin we never missed TV. Truly our only complaint is we didn’t stay here long enough, and we only have ourselves to blame for that.

We had such a nice stay at the cabin! The stars were amazing and we had fun laying in the hammocks and playing lawn games. The setting was peaceful and we wished we could stay longer!
We had a wonderful stay at the Blue Pine Cabin! There was plenty for the kids to do both outside and inside, and it was great to unplug and relax. It was clean, tidy and cozy.
We really enjoyed the cabin. It was very relaxing. It also was a great location to stay while visiting Crater Lake. Thank you for sharing this special location with is!
This cabin has everything you need for a perfect family vacation! The yard has variety of fun activities including disk golf, zip line, hammocks, ax thowing, and many more! They also provided fishing rod and tackles for us to fish at the near by river. It is a decent size cabin with sufficient space for 8 of us to comfortably stay. We love to cook and the kichen literally had everything we need! We all had a great time there!
It was wonderful to have 9 ladies be able to get together and discuss upcoming events. I was great being able to sit around, take a walk, eat together. It was all great.
This property is very isolated with the nearest store in Chiloquin about a 25 minute drive. Crater Lake visitor center a good hour’s drive through pretty country. We wanted the privacy and enjoyed it very much. The kitchen was stocked with all one could wish for in a home, not a rental. Flour, sugar, oil, coffee, tea, spices, etc. Water pressure great, bed comfy. There’s a porch for sittin’ and rockin’. Communication with Clarissa was quick and helpful. We would definitely return if we could!
Our stay was absolutely amazing. Before it even started and before i could even get the gate open, the kids poured out of the car and sprinted to the zipline! The second we parked all the moms hurried to the hammocks before the kids found them. The ax throwing was a hit as well as all the things upstairs for the kids to dig into. So many activities! We had 4 adults and kids and it fit us perfectly. Kitchen was perfect as was having the grill. We've found that our kids eat more if there is grilled food involved. The cabin was so cozy and the absolute perfect place to actually relax and be unplugged for a weekend. My wife and i enjoyed a romantic full moon lit walk on the property. We seriously could not have asked for more. You have an absolute gem of a property and we thank you so much for sharing it with us. We hope to return soon to the cabin and Crater Lake!
