"An old building complex in a great location overviewing the inlet and town of Haines. The hotel itself is an old building, used to be army barracks, age can be seen in and outside but the room was clean and quiet. It feels like from different times, which is. We were greeted with a smile and clear instructions. There was a coffee and teamaker in the lobby and there was always enough coffee/tea for every guest. Loved the stay and the views and the northern lights :)"

"When I arrived, I could not find the hotel. There was no name on the outside of the building and when I knocked on the door, nobody came. It took me about an hour and a half to get into the building. They understood that I was going to arrive at around 6 PM. Their rules were to allow you to arrive up to seven and that you could visit with the person on the first floor of which was absolutely vacant. Once I got into my room, I found it to be very nice well assembled, and the manager was very accommodating and super nice other than the issue of getting in my day was good. The manager cooked breakfast for you every morning that consisted of sausage and scrambled eggs and toast and a variety of other things which was a very nice addition"

"Very nice place. As the description says, “plenty of room “. Everything worked well. Great views and close to some state parks where we were able to hike and watch five bears eat salmon all morning."

"Very cute and cozy inn next to Chilkat bakery and off the main drive in town . What better way to wake up to fresh pastries and coffee with a quaint porch swing in the morning sun. Nice drive to chilkut to watch for bears and then to klukwan to visit family."
