About this property

"The Hideaway at Kensington and Cove Farm"

  • Escape to The Hideaway, a stunning upper-level living space that serves as a private haven for rest and relaxation. With a comfortable, warm, welcoming atmosphere, it's the perfect place to recharge and get away from it all...and still be close enough to explore. This beautiful one bedroom, two full bath space is located upstairs on the site of "The Farm at Kensington and Cove" Venue. The Venue is a 50 acre property where privacy and peace surround you. The Hideaway is only available when the Venue is not in use. There is a fabulous kitchen with high end applicances, a laundry room, two gorgeous walk in showers (one as you come in downstairs and the other on the living quarter level). The windows are huge and allow you to enjoy the gorgeous view. There is a large balcony for you to relax, enjoy a great dinner, or just enjoy the views. The huge covered veranda overlooks the field and a private fenced in yard. This is a place that we hope is hard to leave when your visit is over!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Details and pics of The Hideaway do not do it justice! You have to experience it. The Hideaway is off the beaten path but close to groceries, gas, dining, etc. It is quiet, clean, stocked, roomy, tastefully decorated, & cozy. It has lots of natural sunlight that merges the outside w/the inside. It also has great views from all windows, the balcony, & the reading nooks. The king bed is comfortable w/high-quality linens, & the bedroom has 2 walk-in closets for personal storage. The full bathroom downstairs at the entryway is very convenient. The upstairs bathroom is spacious w/double vanities, & the showers are huge! The large, covered porch downstairs overlooks a manicured fenced in area (see-thru fence), acres of stillness, & mountains in the background. The porch faces east, making for breath-taking sunrises. I was sitting on the front porch reading, then fell asleep to the sound of rain hitting the tin roof. Best nap in a long time! The Hideaway offered space, peace, tranquility, amenities, & a sense of safety. The owner was very responsive, kind, & considerate. My arrival time was after dark, so she left some lights on. I didn't use the gas fireplace, but the pilot light was lit & ready. I asked her 1 question, then later found a brand new hairdryer & a clothes steamer on the porch. So thoughtful & accommodating! I thoroughly enjoyed my time at The Hideaway, sitting with nature, and replenishing. I am already planning my return. A
