However, there were several things that went wrong or could be improved: - Upon arrival (early evening) the access code had not been sent as promised. Luckily the manager picked up the phone and eventually sent the code. If we had arrived much later this could have been a big issue. - There are several broken or badly patched fixtures: one bulb not working in the bedroom, extremely dim overhead light, broken toilet roll holder, broken bedroom blind. We reported these but no fix was made during our three weeks there, except the wrong bulb being replaced! - The bed is a small double, with a very soft mattress; we found it too small to share as you feel every move the other person makes, so one of us slept on the single sofa bed throughout. This is fine but very firm, by contrast. - The kitchen equipment is fine but the knives were totally blunt - these they replaced immediately upon asking. - There is no cleaning equipment in the flat (for bathrooms, surfaces) - a mid-stay clean was given to us, but we couldn't clean ourselves without buying spray bottles etc On the positive side, the flat is bright, quiet, and well situated in the centre of town. With a few fixes and a wider bed base and replacement mattress, it would have been perfect. ##### Marlie H.
