Our already-late flight got delayed two hours, and we ended up arriving at the hotel at 4 in the morning. The man at the check-in desk was very kind, and asked us how many beds we wanted. I had originally booked a king through Expedia since it was the only option left, but had preferred two doubles. He told me it would be an additional $50 a night, so I told him not to worry about it and passed on changing rooms. He went through the motions and handed us our room keys, and told us that he had given us a room with two doubles, free of charge. That was very kind of him, and we appreciated it so much!
The rest of the staff was very courteous and helpful when we asked for directions on how to get somewhere. The room was a good size, the beds were super comfortable with fluffy pillows, and the bathroom was in pristine condition. Everything felt clean, and I'm picky when it comes to that at hotels. We only stayed two nights but this hotel fit our needs perfectly. There was even a business center where we were able to check into our flight and print our boarding passes for free.
The best part about this hotel is it's location. It's right on Michigan Ave and just a few blocks away from Millennium Park, Cloud Gate, Crown Plaza, Willis Tower, and a bunch of delicious restaurants and bars, as well as shopping if you go more north. There was even a CVS across the street. Plus, you can spot this hotel from very far and guide yourself using it if you need to. Would stay again for sure!
