Looks nice but...
The pictures on Expedia is the main reason I decided to book my stay here (combined with the location). After staying here for two nights (in town for a concert and Cubs game), we would never stay here again. As soon as we first walked in the room there was an overwhelming BO smell and was a little warm. We even had a hard time falling asleep because it was so warm. My girlfriend talked me out of asking for a new room but otherwise I would have. Also, the bed sheet didn't even fit the mattress in our room! The wi-fi was extremely slow and there's not even a minifridge. The basic amenities you'd expect for a hotel at this price point are really lacking. Also there was something like a tablet on the nightstand that didn’t work, so not sure what that was for.
One cool thing about this place (because of the rock music theme, obviously) is that you can play an electric guitar in your room or the lobby. We didn't take advantage of this but the offering was cool to me. The location wasn't bad, pretty close to Millennium Park. Half hour walk to Navy Pier (although I'd recommend taking an Uber or something. We had minimal contact with hotel staff.
Either way, would not recommend.
