This is a lovely 3 bedroom apartment. It’s located on a nice quiet block/neighborhood. Property is 5minutes from the Hyde Park Area and the up and coming Obama Library. Also less then 2minutes from grocery store and shopping center. Close to public transportation. This is your home away from home

The unit itself was decent. However, the address on the listing did not match the address that I was given during check in. The listing states 3 bathrooms, however there is only 1.

This property was listed as a 3 bedroom 3 bathroom. It only has 1 bathroom. It said it had air conditioning it does not. It was 5 of us total. The previous people who rented the place was nasty leaving us fighting bug. We canceled the reservation and then purchased a hotel for the weekend.

A Disappointing and Concerning Stay - Not as DescribedOur experience was extremely disappointing. The listing was highly inaccurate, and the property was unacceptable on multiple fronts. We were a party of seven; three of us left within 30 minutes of arrival due to the state of the home, and the remaining four left a day early.The cleanliness was appalling. The house was filthy with visible dirt, dust, unvacuumed carpets, and dirty dishes. It was clear the property had not been properly cleaned.The listing failed to mention it's a duplex, and we were in the upstairs unit with unknown occupants below. This was a major privacy and safety concern. Additionally, there were unlisted "outdoor" security cameras, a serious violation of privacy.Basic amenities were missing, including hand soap in the bathroom, a simple hygiene necessity. The four window AC units were incredibly loud, disrupting sleep and relaxation.When we raised these significant concerns, the host was defensive and rude, showing no willingness to resolve the issues.Finally, we were very uneasy about the area's safety, having learned from locals about the crime rate around the neighborhood—information that was completely undisclosed.Overall, this was a very negative experience. The property was unsanitary, inaccurate, and felt unsafe. I strongly advise future travelers to look elsewhere.
