Our stay for a long weekend was excellent. Staff were friendly and accommodating. We ate breakfast and a late night snack at the restaurant within the hotel which was very good! Rooms were a nice size and clean. Pool was clean and very big. We would stay here again next time we’re in the area!
Pleasantly surprised w/ room quality & amenities! Restaurant was also fantastic! I recommend the Mexican skillet for breakfast & the hamburger & fries for lunch!
We have been here several times and each stay has been comfortable and enjoyable. Staff is friendly and helpful, rooms are clean, pool is clean and nice, and the restaurant is great. Also, many places nearby to eat as well.

Thank you for you your gracious words about Patti who happens to be our General Manager. I will pass the message along to her. This is exactly how she trains her staff to be so we would expect no less from our leader.
We mistakenly left two important pieces of luggage in our room. We realized the loss two days later, called the front desk, located the items and within hours had a nearby family member retrieve the bags. I am grateful for the kindness and the professionalism of the staff who helped us. Thank you!!

Staff were friendly and available to help if needed. Furnishings and decor were updated and pleasing. The mattress was comfortable, which is an important comfort factor. The hotel actually exceeded our expectations, as the photos on the site seem to show more worn and outdated facilities.

We do apologize about the lack of continental breakfast, but Full Service Holiday Inn with sit down do not offer them, only the Holiday Inn Express offer that type of breakfast.If ever you are in the Carol Stream area again, please reach out to me directly, we'll see if we can offer somerthing special for the grandkids...Michael Perry Guest Services Manager
I booked my stay through Expedia, I have always done the reserve now pay later option and have never had an issue at check in, when I arrived to check in the hotel desk employee that was checking me in, asked for my name and then immediately said we already charged the card you booked the room with on Expedia. And that is not the card I wanted to use I never gave authorization for him to do so or the hotel in general. That is why I always use the pay at hotel option because what if I wanted to pay cash for the room or use a different card at the time of the stay. He did reverse the transaction and told me it would show back up in my account during the week. It was still not ok doing without authorization. He also never once asked to verify my Id or drivers license. I could have been anyone using someone’s reservation.

We truly apologize for the inconvenience, as we completely understand's the guest's position. We immediately pointed out our mistake and realized that when we reversed to CC on file, it immediately reversed his credit card, thought it is customary for us to let the guest know that it make take up to 3 to 5 business days for the credit card to be credited.Once again we truly apologize or any inconvenience this may have caused the guest
Front desk experience was terrible. Staff was rude and arrogant. She escalated the conversation, we got to the brink of arguing. Front desk is hotel’s first and best opportunity for leaving goos impression. Hotel mng. shouldn’t waste this opportunity with staff who are not up for the job.

Staff was friendly and efficient. Hotel was close to my ultimate destination. Restaurant breakfast was tasty and my waitress was very attentive. Room was good, quiet, and I got a good night’s sleep.
