The room and the bed linen was dirty. When I arrived they put me in a room that was smelling gross, like a musty terrible smell, that gave me a headache, when I opened the fridge, it was also smelly. I asked if it was possible to change my room because of the strong smell, they said if I wanted to change I would have to pay more, because they didn't have a room available with the same price, but they had others empty rooms there. As I didn't have the money to pay more, the girl at the reception wrote to me in Google translator (SHE COULDN'T SPEAK ENGLISH) that there was nothing she could do if I didn't pay. The room had no window, so I left the doors opened when I went out, trying to decrease the smell, but when I came back, someone had closed the doors. The TV didn't work properly. In the other day I had to do the check out, they have signs inside the room telling that the check out time is until 12:00\. The building is old but renovated. Rooms are large enough but dark inside and not well ventilated. Service is friendly and helpful. Good for a short stay for visitors to Chiangmai.
