I've been traveling in southeast Asia for 6 years and I've stayed at over 100 hotels. This is the most rude experience I've ever had. Grab taxi is always within 2 minutes for pickup. it is about 100BT to the center of Chiang Mai. I rented 3 rooms for 2 nights and will always stay at this hotel from now on. To no fault of the hotel, I would ask them for a room on the mall side because it is so quiet. If you stay on lower floors on the other side there is a dog breeding farm and if a cold night the dogs wake up early and bark. This is Thailand so it is hard for them to deal with the problem as anyone that has spent a lot of time in Thailand will understand. If not for the dogs the first morning for my room only I would give this place 100% anywhere in the world. I will give them 99%. Although, the mall has a limited free shuttle van that can get you around. The hotel is new and clean but has no lobby or amenities other than free wifi.
