If I could give this hotel 10 stars I would, it’s the best! Staff were unbelievably helpful & went out of their way to make my stay effortless, internet was great, room was impeccably clean & pool/gym were wonderful as well. The spa was the best part of the stay. Very organized and the staff was extremely helpful and kind. This hotel is far from 5 star if that’s the experience you’re looking for. But if you have kids and want a relaxed family vibe - this is the place for you.

We stayed here for our honeymoon and it was amazing! The hotel was very clean and very well decorated. The staff were amazing and so friendly! And the food was great as well! It is also right next to the night bazaar and had tons of things within walking distance! Highly recommend and will definitely come back if we travel back to Thailand!

I had a fantastic 2-night stay at Meliá Chiang Mai. The location is perfect — the night market, massage shops, rooftop bars, and great restaurants are all within walking distance, which made exploring Chiang Mai really easy. As a solo traveler I felt very safe staying here, and it was also very convenient for tours since both of my excursions were able to pick me up directly from the hotel. The food and drinks I ordered were excellent and the service throughout my stay was great. The hotel is definitely on the pricier side, but that’s expected for a 5-star property. I did choose to get massages outside the hotel since they were about 1500 Baht cheaper nearby. Overall, I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Chiang Mai and would recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Chiang Mai.

The epitome of Asian hospitality, the staff were genuinely friendly and took pride in their work. They accommodated my requests, rooms were clean and beds were comfy and cosy. I had booked some spa treatments and they accommodated my request to have my elderly mother sit in the treatment room with me as she has dementia and cannot be on her own. If I ever visit Chiang Mai again I will definitely stay there.
