#### Old school wonderful Guesthouse 

A really nice, warm and personal Guesthouse in the heart of Chiang Mai close to everything. Kamala and her wonderful employee Beer are nice and helpful. Older rooms that work fine.

I stayed recently .. nice area .. quiet.. peaceful.. but blocks away a party to be had.. the room was nice, clean.. bathroom/shower area very basic.. but that’s ok because Kamala and her staff a so wonderful.. great deal for the price

Kamala's guest house is like going to your friends' place to stay. Kamala made me feel comfortable the minute we walked in. I had a large room with a private balcony. The air conditioning worked well and the sheets are very soft and snuggly. The place is in a quiet alley with shops and shopping minutes away. Kamala arranged a sightseeing tour and cooking class for me. Both were great! I loved my time in Chiang Mai largely due to Kamala.

Sehr angenehm. Gute Lage. Alles super. Grosses Zimmer, guter Preis. Zudem hat uns Kamala ein Upgrade gegeben. Vielen Dank. hotels.com hat freie Parkplatze angegeben, was nicht stimmt (Fehler von hotels.com). Konnten mit Kamalas Hilfe trotzdem gratis parken.

ターペー門の前にあります。チェンマイ旧市街や周辺を巡るのに、とても便利な場所にあります。チェンマイを歩いて楽しみたい方には良いと思います。ちなみに、トゥクトゥクもつかまえやすいです。

The staff that I did meet were very polite and helpful. Caretaker tried for three days to fix the ariel for the tv in my room. The bedding and towels were very clean as were the rooms. Free two bottles of water in your room, after that free refills down stairs, free tea and coffee. I deal location really two minutes away from ThaPhae Gate The first room I had was in need of redecorating due to paint coming off, bubbling, tv didn't work for three days, no window view - just a picture hung in front of the window, every morning at 6am the water tank on the roof filled up which was very noisy. After 3 days I was moved to another room (Expedia had split up my booking for some reason???) room better condition, a bit bigger, again sheets, towels and room very clean. Only two channels worked on the tv but I didn't bother saying anything this time as only had a few days left, again no view, still could hear the water but not so bad. Although free tea and coffee it was down in the the reception area so you had to walk up and down to get the drink. Overall a good place to stay

The hotel location is perfect; in a sweet little quiet street, right in the old city, with walking distance to Thapae gate. The staff are all lovely and I loved the fresh free coffee in the morning.

Super skønt sted. Utrolig hjælpsomt personale. Adressen passer dog ikke, hvilket gav nogle startproblemer. Det ligger i stedet 50m fra Thae Pae gate, hvilket er helt ideelt. Bor her gerne igen, så kan bestemt anbefales!

This place is near the center, not too far from the airport, and close enough to the shopping and food areas. There are bars, shops, restaurants, currency exchanges, boxing shows, a huge area for bird feeding (great for pictures), tattoo shops, and even a place to do laundry. We stayed here before we flew to Phuket and it felt so much like home that we decided to stay again once we returned. The second time though, a storm had soaked the room we were supposed to stay in. The owner then took it upon herself to offer us a slightly different kind of room there or to have her employees drive us about 3 minutes to her second location. We decided to take the same room at the second location. This place was just as nice and still in walking distance from all of the above. They have amazing customer service. They do require a 500 baht deposit. I used cash and got the full 500 back both times. They have AC and free water/coffee.
