It is in the most perfect location, close to popular tourist destinations, walkable to all of the any markets and great restaurants and bars. It is on a busy street, but once you enter it is actually very quiet. Rooms are clean and they provided complimentary water bottles for us. Our AC broke the second night and they had someone fix it first thing next morning. They were very kind about it. Pool was too cold to use, we went in December. Tip: there is a bit of a language barrier with the staff. I wanted to book an afternoon tour to visit the elephant sanctuary & they said it was not available. I showed them the brochure & they were able to accommodate. I also asked where old town Chiang Mai was & was told it was very far, it is literally one block away. The location is fantastic & safe. The shower was leaky, flooded the floor each time. Also the bath tub is elevated so for older travelers this may be an issue & safety hazard as the floor is wet & slippery. I said a prayer each time I got in & out of the shower. I don’t think the sun ever hits the pool so if you are looking to layout & get some sun by the pool, this may not be the place for you. Immaculately clean, modern without losing the traditional Thai Lanna aesthetics. But what matters the most is the service! We arrived at 9am and checkout time is still 2pm so we asked if our room is ready we would like to stay. Since our room was not ready, they allowed us to use a VIP room. This is too generous. The managers and front desk etc. respond to us like you are a VIP - with such speed. Room 205- has all the amenities including Ground floor rooms have pool access . The only thing missing in the room is the western channels CNN etc.. but who needs that in Chiangmai? Noteworthy is the free mini bar:) with snacks nuts and coffee..WiFi is good. As a hotel level 12 contributor of Trip advisor, I am so pleased . Bed is the most comfy.My only complain was when we moved to 204, the young housekeeping maid was so in a rush to clean up and missed out on small details such as bathroom carpet. The comforter on my first day smelled used and was not changed. So I asked for a new one. Still I recommend this hotel You will not be disappointed. Hotel location is good, nearest to Thapae gate， night fair. The hotel staff is fantastic helpful. The rooms were comfortable and really clean. We got breakfast included and thought it was a great tasty breakfast.
