Good breakfast & very quiet & peaceful surrounding. It is a bit far from action so you have to take a taxi to go do things. The only things that are close by are a night outdoors food market & a magnificent resort across the street to visit. For everything else you have to take a taxi. Great, new hotel in a quiet area outside of the city centre but walking distance to Central Festival. Get a room with a lake view which will also have a view of Doi Suthep. The lake view corner suite is superb. Superb restaurant with lake and doi (mountain) views. Overall, a brilliant and inexpensive hotel if you want a quiet stay outside of hustle bustle and tourist traps of Chiang Mai... Staff is also very nice. Bit far from the old town but taxi fares are between 3 to 6 dollars to old town each way. Worth the price for the value you get from staying at the property. So why didn’t we didn’t like it. 2 out of 3 nights the owners had a party for their friends till 2:30 am was impossible to sleep till it was over. The last night the staff moved us to quiet room on the top floor and that fixed it for us. Credit to staff of the hotel but the owners are so inconsiderate that I would not stay there again.
