Chexbres

Chexbres is a popular place to head to while you are exploring Lake Geneva as many of the city’s star attractions are close. Two destinations that should be at the top of every visitor’s list is the fabulous Lavaux Vineyard Terraces and the ever-popular Corniche Lavaux Vineyards. Also, well worth the effort are Lutry Pier and Castle Chatelard.

Do make the effort to see some of the nearby museums and galleries, which help make this region the special place it is. Join a tour, admire the building in which it is housed or simply enjoy the fascinating displays at Olympic Museum in Lausanne, the Musee du Vieux Montreux in Montreux and the Lausanne Historical Museum.

When it’s time escape the city, plan a trip to the nearby green spaces. Admire the trees and flowers, watch the passing parade, or just soak up the sunshine at Parc Bourget in Lausanne.
