This site is brand new, and feels like it! A fresh & promising entry into the options for accommodations in the tight market of southeast Virginia. Also, so many choices for food and shopping nearby. Furniture and bed were all very comfortable. And it was VERY affordable, even during this vacation season.
They did not give the room what I booked. It’s worse service I never seen. Staff said, if you want cancel , I can do and look outside any options. How I can look outside in last minute. Please ask them to pay back my cost and I did not have sleep properly.
My stay was not bad. But to be a new hotel and just opened a few days prior to my stay, I believe service could have been better. The service by 2 staff was great and above and beyond. While the Manager and her staff as we walked in was very dry no greeting whatsoever just dry and did not even look up at you as a customer. I understand management have a lot to do and make sure things flow smoothly. However I would never higher someone like her. If I was a secret shopper I would have had her job. The assistant same type of personality. However the heavy gentlemen and young black girl were extremely accommodating and very nice. If was not for them my stay would be rated as poor. However I give them both a 5 star in their customer service, and their willingness to assist us the best way possible.
Upon arriving at 9pm my suite was not ready, mind you check in is at 3pm. There was no
communication of the delay. When I entered, there was a lobby full of people & luggage, They estimated a 30 min wait time with a defaulted apology. They offered me to go eat at a near by restaurant with the promise that my suite would be ready. Unfamiliar with the area & traveling with an infant I asked to leave my luggage & he refused. I admittedly made the decision to stay in the lobby after weighing my options. I didn’t have transportation of my own, had my infant & all of our luggage & it was 10 o’clock at night in an unfamiliar area (traveling from Texas). As you can imagine 30 min came & went with no update I overhear him continuously repeat himself using the same default “I’m sorry .. 30 min wait” , so I ask for an update & o my then does he say an hour … I was behind people who came in for early check in at 2PM!!!! Not once did they offer the people in the lobby a drink or a snack fee of charge. They insisted you walk or wait off of their inconvenience. After finally getting into
The hotel my lights didn’t work & pillow cases were missing & at that point I couldn’t be bothered..
Room clean upon arrival but only gets cleaned once a week, fee to get serviced more frequently. Water pressure on the 4th floor is abysmal but otherwise great hotel.

They gave my room up even with a reservation that was paid for a week in advance. No replacement room just “you can go down the road.”
Worst experience ever.. I was not anle to get my room until 11:40pm, they gave lame excuse and are not sympathetic. Inl was in parking lot from 6 til 11:30pm and they not even offer me consolation for my late checkin. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!
I called the manager calling card and no answer, I also emailed the asst manager and manager, NO REPLY... never again with this studio hotel..
Nothing like checking in with an advanced 4 day reservation booked via Expedia only to be coldly told not our problem bc you booked via 3rd party site that they don’t have a room for you. Then listen to the staff complain about Expedia and realize they didn’t mark rooms as clean that were, artificially reducing inventory. We did eventually get a room after being pressured to take a room that wasn’t designed for our occupancy. Seems like a an easy fix or control to email or call customers in advance when they were clearly out of rooms. 5 stars for cleanliness and 1.5 for customer service and 1 for attitude and management.
Brand new hotel. Everything was great. Beds were comfortable and what I liked most is if you needed to stay a few days for travel, it has everything you need to cook or basically have a studio apartment. Breakfast was bare minimum- granola bars, muffins, and fruit if you are counting on that as “breakfast included”
