Everything was perfect. Family enjoyed the pool table and darts.was very quiet and peaceful. Will stay here again! Own verynice and went out of their way for us.
My husband and I booked this cabin for a weekend get away and we were not disappointed. The place was amazing and the views of the mountains from the deck and inside the cabin were breath taking. It was very private and serene. The location was perfect for taking day trips to Amicalola SP, Blue Ridge, Ellijay and more.
We had a great time at this cabin as a family. The property was easy to find and we were able to use the code to enter with no problem. The view was beautiful and the cabin had everything we needed to enjoy an easy weekend away. The hot tub was not working when we arrived and Morgan was very quick to respond and troubleshoot until we had it up and running. I highly recommend this cabin!!
Our family of 5 adults and 2 children spent a week and had an enjoyable and relaxing time in this cabin. I appreciated that the kitchen was well stocked with all the essentials for cooking. The bottom floor had a pool table and games for kids and the balcony was spacious with a great view of the mountains and included a gas grill. The 3 bedrooms/bathrooms were perfect for our family as everyone had their privacy. We were also pleased with how easy it was to reach downtown Blue Ridge. The drive to the cabin was beautiful and we often saw deer on the side of the road, which was a thrill for us and the kids. Great place for a relaxing family vacation!
Best cabin we’ve had in Blue Ridge area so far! Awesome location, amazing views, dog approved. Main & top floor beds SUPER COMFORTABLE. Loved all the amenities; games, pool table, darts, hot tub, & fire pit. Excellent indoor fireplace. Very clean, tidy, and well decorated. Host was very responsive and respectful during all processes. This truly was an excellent example of what a VRBO can be! Great job to the host. We will be back!
We had a wonderful 4-night stay! The cabin and location were absolutely beautiful. It was well-appointed and thoughtfully stocked—right down to the PUR water filter in the fridge. Even the dining table that I thought might be uncomfortable (based on the photos) turned out to be extremely comfortable and became a family favorite! All the beds were cozy, the showers were great, and the cabin was spotless. Check-in was easy, and communication with the owners was excellent. We loved all the fireplaces—both indoors and out—and the grill worked perfectly (we used it twice!). The views were amazing, and we spent much of our stay enjoying the outdoor spaces. The patio furniture was very comfortable, the Wi-Fi worked flawlessly, and the hot tub was a nice bonus.Be aware that the drive up to the cabin is a bit steep. We had an AWD vehicle, which I’d definitely recommend—especially if the weather isn’t perfect. It took about 20 minutes to get into Blue Ridge, which was totally fine since the drive was beautiful. There are also great nearby trails and outdoor activities.Overall, we had a fabulous, peaceful, and quiet getaway—exactly what we were looking for. We’ll definitely be back!
1-Star Review: Unsafe for Families – Host Refuses Refund, Key Hazards Undisclosed CRITICAL WARNING TO FAMILIES, SENIORS & PET OWNERS This home is NOT accessible for elderly guests, mobility-limited travelers, or medium/large dogs. Interior stairs are dangerously steep (nearly vertical, like attic pull-downs) with slick, glossy wood and no traction. They connect every level—kitchen/living, bedrooms, pool table, hot tub. The host’s only advice: “Older guests should stay on one floor.”We booked this for a family vacation so my 72-year-old mother could enjoy time with her grandchildren. She manages three flights daily at home, but these stairs —one misstep means a direct fall to the bottom. Our 65-lb black lab fell four times in 10 minutes, yelping in pain. After an 8-hour drive, we navigated a narrow, rutted dirt road filled with deep potholes (nearly undrivable in our mid-size SUV). The home is far smaller than wide-angle photos suggest—living room sofa shoved against the breakfast bar. “Pet-friendly” is misleading for any dog -our dachshund and black lab could not navigate stairsWe left after 30 minutes, booked a hotel, then found another cabin. The host refused a refund, saying “deal with VRBO.”These hazards should be clearly disclosed:Extreme stair steepness limiting access to 1 floor.Dirt Roads that are difficuly to navigateWe only wanted a week where everyone could move freely and make memories together. If the host truly needed the 2K, he can keep it.
Tim and Morgan’s cabin is outstanding. It was sparkling, clean, and had everything you would need for the perfect stay. We enjoyed the fireplace on our trip as well as the hot tub and the pool table. We cooked dinner a couple of nights and had everything we needed to prepare our meals. The beds and all of the furniture was very comfortable, and the views are spectacular! The cabin is close to the top of the mountain and it is a steep incline going up, but we had a four-wheel-drive vehicle so had no issues. It is close to everything yet so very private. We can’t wait to go back and we highly recommend!
This cabin has everything you need to sit back relax and enjoy the smoky mountains. There are multiple levels to enjoy the view. A great spot on the bottom level to playing pool and a game of darts. The hosts are quick to respond to any questions you may have. The view is phenomenal. Truly. I do advise you to take caution when driving up the mountain. It’s 1 lane and very curvy. A 4 wheel drive is advised to get out of the driveway. All in all, this was a perfect spot to enjoy a romantic getaway.
This is our first time in the Blue Ridge area and we loved it beautiful scenery in every direction. The cabin was very spacious. My husband and son loved playing pool every night. The basement was my son’s man cave. The main floor was very accommodating we had everything we needed and the views from the deck were really nice to wake up to in the morning. We’ll definitely be back.
Quiet, serene, underated beauty and views, pictures don't do justice...
We had the stay we needed. The friendly owners were always available if needed. The cabin is beautiful and just the right size and was fully stocked, beautifully decorated. We all had our own space and together space, adult and teens. The beds and linens were absolute comfort. Having everything we needed made our week stay that much more enjoyable. The pool table, darts and laundry area were extra. We didn't use the hot tub fireplace or fire pit area because we're already hot Floridians in the summer but the coolness at night still would've been worth its use. I hope to return in the fall as there's more places to see. We mostly enjoyed our staying put. Some of the roads leading up and down were a little scary but having awd and frequenting travel helped me overcome.
