This is an odd place, but an excellent value. I certainly felt safe and was not concerned about cleanliness, just that the outside of the bldg was not well maintained and it seemed that some of the ways things were installed or laid out seemed odd. i had a hard time finding the towels, the ironing board was unuseable but the iron worked. The shower head points at the door you need to walk in through, but you can make it work I guess. There is a nice tub in the bathroom that has a paper sign saying "do not use". There is no chair or desk/table in the room. There is a surprise patio out back of the room I was staying in, interesting. Some trains withing earshot go by and blow their horns around 4 AM. This was not terrible but noticeable. The walk to the bus stop is littered with trash but apparently safe.
Overall, this is an odd place but a tremendously good value.

"Beautiful view, great cabin, near everything yet completely secluded. Make sure you have a car that can navigate small graveled mountain paths. My husband and I had a wonderful time and it was a perfect place to relax after a day of exploring."
