"What a charming place to stay in Washburn! The house was larger than it looks from the photos and the hosts really cater to guests, including dogs. I wish we had more time to spend there and I would definitely stay again! The house layout is open and conducive to family spending time together. The hosts provided so many amenities like coffee, teas, toiletries and dog supplies. The fenced in backyard was ideal for our pup and looks like it would be a great place to hangout in the warmer months. Lake Superior truly is a short walk away, as is the downtown of Washburn. "

"The location is wonderful - right on the lake as advertised with a nice private beach. The cottage is older in style/decor but was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. Tiny shower, but it worked. Could use a keurig and air fryer at some point for longer stays (we like to cook at home). Sauna was a nice touch on a snowy day."
