It is a local MGM group that has taken the global brand and monetizing on it. The property by itself is not really bad. But they rate themselves as MGM global brand and charge premium like a 5 star Hotels and that is where the problem is. If they charge 1000 - 2000 rupees, $20 - $50 per night, it is not bad. But anything more than $100 per night is too much for this place. I actually wanted to cancel my second night. But the hotel did not allow that. They tried to upgrade and provided a few freebies. Because the hotel does not allow swimming at their beach the hotel is not a good choice for those looking to enjoy swimming. The general atmsphere is quite pleasant, relaxing, and healing, with a lovely pool bordered by palm trees. The beakfast bar is however horribly packed with people in long lines just in order to get an omlette, otherwise suffering from constant shortage of plates, which should be considered something truly unprofessional for a hotel with such facilities.
