Yes, I still lived in this hotel, but at a higher price and with a disappointed mood. Another annoying thing is that the booking takes a non-refundable policy and may fine me for no show. Everything is perfect. The decor is a combination of wood and stone, beautiful artwork is everywhere. The rooms are large, everything is in exactly the right place, and everything works. This one is a mixed bag. The location is great, as it sits downtown with plenty of shops around. The place has a "zen" vibe that is well served by how quiet and calm it is. Actually surprising for a downtown location. If you want quiet and convenience on a budget, it's a good choice. Expect the usual Chinese hotel caveats: heating is optional, breakfast has no western option, staff barely speak a word of English. All of that I have no problem with, I can handle it anytime. Where this one falls short is cleanliness. while the room and linen were undoubtedly clean, the bathroom, the elevators and common areas where very dirty. Construction workmanship is poor, leading to hard-to-maintain premises, coupled with apparent lack of care by management and/or employees make this hotel one I could not recommend.
