We ended up walking around in 30 degree heat, with 20kg rucksacks to a different hotel that was in the location on the map, where we were able to work out where to go in broken English. Not a great start. When we eventually made it to the hotel Susan was wonderful and gave us a 5\* check in experience. She is a real credit to the brand and will be working in a 5\* hotel soon, I’m certain! The check in was great, with an IHG welcome! She helped us to book a taxi for a trip we had the following day and couldn’t have done more for us. The room itself is old, tired and in need of spending to bring it up to standard again. The bed was huge and very comfortable; but the room whilst being big, had no wardrobe, just a hanging rail- I get to save costs in construction, but it made no sense and is just cheap. The shower silicon is mouldy, the shower mat is mouldy, the bathroom sink was scratched, just not up to standard.
