Second visit to The Chase hotel, very pleased with everything. Nice rooms, comfy bed. Haven’t tried breakfast but ate from the lounge menu in the evening which was very good.

Staff helpful, room good quality. Food good. But going through refurbishment and it might have been better if that had been disclosed upfront as it meant gym not fully functional and restaurant at dinner cramped so did not eat there. Better at breakfast.

The grounds are lovely and the pool is great. The room was big and very clean, but the mattress was one of the most uncomfortable I’ve slept on and the room lacked basic things you’d expect from this star rated hotel - like conditioner and pens.

Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The bar area was nice and comfortable for a drink, with a good atmosphere. The restaurant served nice food and we enjoyed our meals. The pool area could have been a little cleaner, and the jacuzzi system was frustrating as it was on a timer, only 4 minutes on and then 10 minutes off, which was quite annoying. The standout part of the hotel was definitely the breakfast and the breakfast staff, who were excellent. Overall, yes, we would stay again.
