This cottage is perfect. It has everything you need. The location can’t be beat, walking distance to restaurants and shops. I truly loved staying here!
What a charming and lovely cottage moments from the shops but secluded enough to feel like you have the best of both worlds! The host was wonderful and always quick to answer my questions. Guests must be mobile enough to handle the quirky stairs. It was like vacationing in a movie set! We hope to return!!
My Australian friend & his wife were on a short tour of England and I thought an English country side and Cottage stay would be ideal. This Jasmine Cottage is the perfect choice with a blend of period architecture & modern facilities. We loved it. I booked it through VRBO and I had direct contact with the host Krysle who has been very responsive from the beginning through to the end of the stay. The cottage was incredibly clean and all the facilities & provision of items are well thought out. If I can think of a constructive feedback I would say a couple of things.. On the day of arrival, we couldn’t find Wi-Fi password. There was no mobile reception. So I needed to walk back to the town area to get a better phone reception so that I could contact the host for Wi- Fi password. However the host Krysle was prompt and responsive. It is better to have Wi-Fi information within the guest book. There were wine glasses but a few Whiskey tumblers would be helpful for Whiskey drinkers 😊.. As it is a period building one needs to be mindful of low ceiling height in most places within the cottage..there are signs everywhere. Due to the design. the attic room has no doors. If you are up for a modern living in a 400 year old property then this is the place for you and highly recommended
We loved this home! It has so much charm. It is old, yet was updated in a way that doesn’t change the vibe. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, and we enjoyed the goodie bag! I wish we could have stayed longer.
