It is far from any main roads and has been voted one of the best pubs for many years. Dining is uncoventional in that you have to choos from many options from a blackboard (rather quaint). Our room, ‘Old Bob’, with ensuite, was lovely, big and very clean. The room was very quiet and the bed and pillows were comfortable for a good nights sleep. Very comfortable bed and room very clean. Shower was clean and they water hot. In all a very comfortable stay. We were, attending a wedding at Leez Priory which as 5 mins away.
