Quiet neighborhood with parking right out front. Easy access to the Medina - the staff arranged a taxi for us which showed up within minutes. Breakfast was the best we've had on our entire trip. Staff were lovely, gracious, took care of us, helped me with laundry, gave us advice. Beautiful rooftop to enjoy tea and breakfast. Rooms are big and comfortable. Amazing hot shower. We were provided amazing service and care throughout our stay. Rooms are clean and spacious. The pool area was perfect for a quick dip and to refresh. And....our favorite part...the breakfast! This was probably the best breakfast we had during our journey through Morocco. We had a terrific spread on the rooftop with great views. True, Villa Rita is not in the medina. But, it is close enough. We had a car so it really didn't matter. Either way, we would highly recommend Villa Rita. It smelled of paint and varnish, there was nobody else there…except a stranger on my second night who slept in the room across from mine and woke me up at 5:30 am. It was frightening. Nobody should have been there during this time. The breakfast at the rooftop was delicious, Osama was very helpful and kind. My complaints are the master bedroom’s bathroom smells awful like sewer, the shower didn’t drain well. I didn’t sleep in the room because of the foul smell, it was giving us a headache. It’s a safety issue for our health, please fix it.
