Short walk to plaza or taxi center. Food is best in plaza square. Some things were disappointing. I scheduled a taxi pick up with Mohammed from the airport in Tanger days before. He confirmed and told me the name of the driver. I provided flight information. Tanger is two hours away and when we arrived there was no transportation as promised. I called Mohammed ahout 10 times in whatsapp and he never picked up. After waiting one hour I called the hotel and asked what happened. They figured something out and sent a car but waited a total time of 1.5 hours. This was unacceptable and when we arrived we were not offered tea or water as a greeting especially after what they had done. Later we asked Mohammad for a restaurant recommendation that was good and not touristy and he recommended a very touristy place where they got commission. We were very dissatisfied with the food and recommendation. This is a lovely place in a good location inside the medina. The staff is friendly and very attentive. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was great! The one downside was that the bathroom was tiny. Staffs were very friendly and made us feel at home. We staid for one night in this very nice riad. The staff was kind and helpful, they speak different languages too. The room was actually a small apartment on two floors, was clean and with all the necessary. Many tourists (like me) take photos right outside the Riad...really pretty:) Breakfast is great and all the staff were truly helpful. Youssef stood out because he’s really nice and took the time to talk to me and the other guests. The terrace in my room (#5) is one of my favorite hang out spots. What a view!
