Cheboygan has a nice downtown with a farmers market on Weds and Saturdays, restaurants and ice cream to enjoy. Easy drive to Mackinac city too. Highly recommend running the pontoon, miles, and miles of available boating, can go to several incredible beaches, boat to dinner. I have rented several vacation homes and some homes come with barely a roll of toilet paper. This home is got lots of creature comfort from home fully extract kitchen with everything you can imagine. The lake house was beautiful and very clean and had many amenities. It was very comfortable to stay there and we fully enjoyed the beauty of the grounds and the lake. The house, garden, fire pit, boat… it was all perfect. We were welcomed with a homemade apple pie (made from apples off the property) and a very thoughtful gift basketl. The Pontoon boat was so convenient to use and take cruises up and down the Cheboygan River. The owner goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and comfortable. ##### Mark I. This place has everything! Stocked extremely well. Hosts were very friendly and attentive. They even baked an apple pie for our arrival! Ask about the pontoon rental. Our hosts were so thoughtful and accommodating. The home has all the supplies you would possibly need. We loved the boat, hot tub and fire pit time(s’mores were supplied).. we enjoyed the local sites of Mackinaw island/city and falls. We would love to stay again. It was an outstanding vacation.
