Wherever you're jetting in from, flying can be an enjoyable experience if you're prepared. We've put together a list of handy travel tips that will get your Trier holiday started on the right note. What to pack in your hand luggage:

• The trick to having an awesome travel experience is to pack ahead. Start with the essentials: passport, official ID, credit cards and vital medications. Next, take on board items that'll help keep you busy, like some electronic devices or a juicy novel. It's also smart to pack your chargers, a neck pillow and a pair of headphones. Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
