![Nam Views | Mekong River: As much solo traveling as I do I often arrive somewhere new knowing very little people or no one at all. This has always been one of my favorite aspects of traveling, the chance to meet someone new from a different culture and hear their story intrigues me. A visit to the Mekong River was one of the top places I wanted to visit while in Vietnam but I’m not a organized tour type of guy and it’s quite a bit of a ride so I wasn’t sure how I was going to do it. During a dinner with my friend @littlemay.05 who was visiting her family in Vietnam for the Tet Holiday I was introduced to her friend @myn.57 who’s hometown is near the Mekong River. She offered to pick me up from a nearby bus station and take me on a tour of the river. It was so refreshing getting away from the city for a bit and I had a great time, thanks so much Myn!

"Beautiful place to stay. Lovely pool in a quiet and serene location. The owner cooked us a special vegetable lunch as we were there during the Tet and local restaurants wete cmosed. She and her son also saved us from a horrible jam by organizing a taxi to HCM when GRAB canceled 15 minutes after we were due to be picked up. We also were invited to a cooking lesson. "

"We booked a family room for 6 people thinking that it will be a big room for everyone. But in reality, it’s 2 separate standard rooms next to each other. It is false advertisement. If we had known that it will be just 2 separate rooms, we would not have booked it. The food is terrible, low quality and yet, way overpriced. I would not recommend anyone to stay here. This hotel should only be in the 2\*-class at the most! "

"We had a fantastic night at the Coco Farmstay. The owners were welcoming and helpful, cooked us a delicious (and enormous!) meal, and we were able to hire bikes the next morning to explore the coconut plantations and waterways of the surrounding area. It's in a beautiful location - about a 10 minute taxi from Ben Tre, but well worth the few £'s it costs to get there. A really tranquil and peaceful spot, unlike anything else you'll find in the Delta. The only downside was the storm overnight...

![Nam Views | Mekong River: As much solo traveling as I do I often arrive somewhere new knowing very little people or no one at all. This has always been one of my favorite aspects of traveling, the chance to meet someone new from a different culture and hear their story intrigues me. A visit to the Mekong River was one of the top places I wanted to visit while in Vietnam but I’m not a organized tour type of guy and it’s quite a bit of a ride so I wasn’t sure how I was going to do it. During a dinner with my friend @littlemay.05 who was visiting her family in Vietnam for the Tet Holiday I was introduced to her friend @myn.57 who’s hometown is near the Mekong River. She offered to pick me up from a nearby bus station and take me on a tour of the river. It was so refreshing getting away from the city for a bit and I had a great time, thanks so much Myn!

"Petit bijou caché sur le bord du Mékong.Cet établissement de dix bungalows est géré par une famille de Vietnamiens qui sont tous plus gentils les uns que les autres. Le service est irréprochable, le site est hyper chaleureux et typique à souhait, la piscine de céramiques vertes donne une touche zen et elle est bien aménagée au cœur d’un magnifique aménagement paysager dans la nature. L’eau est fraîche et propre. Les promenades en vélo autour sont vraiment plaisantes et sécuritaires. Le petit-déjeuner est un des meilleurs que nous ayons eus au Vietnam: confitures d’ananas maison, bananes frites, crêpes, etc. Le repas du soir est servi sur une belle terrasse bien aménagée et les repas sont excellents et variés. Tout est fait maison avec soin et avec un grand souci du détail et une grande gentillesse. Nous avons réservé toutes les excursions proposées et nous en gardons un souvenir mémorable. Tout était bien organisé et bien synchronisé. Les massages étaient comme le reste des prestations, cad professionnels et excellents. Donc sans aucune hésitation, venez séjourner au Mekong Home et si jamais il n’est pas disponible à votre date, faites comme moi et modifiez votre itinéraire, cela en vaut la peine. Dernier conseil, réserver deux nuits car un seul jour ne suffit pas pour profiter pleinement des lieux."

"I realized this is by the River, but it's quite far from Ben Tre main area - which is about 4-7 kilometers away. The hotel is not too nice, but this is what you expect in the country side. Pool outside is nice. Our room was very small, the beds were sliding left and right, sheets not clean, just overall a sub par hotel. Staff was okay."

"110% you need to stay here! It is clean it is peaceful and it is serene. I had a good week here, they are a beautiful family and the mother treated me like I was one of her son's, I got to do and see most of the things I wanted too until I was hospitalised by a poisonous horse shoe crab from a restaurant. Luckily Min was able to drive me to the hospitals of which we had to go to a main one in the end, if it wasn't for him I'd probably would of been toast, so many many thanks to them, as I said before, not only are they an extremely kind family but also I am glad to call them my friends. Don't miss out on this little GEM👌 "
