We were attending a wedding at Chateau de la Couronne in Marthon.The house had everything we needed, the children loved the pool, we had several bbqs and also visited Brantome and St Estephe.The bakery and supermarket in Javelhac (10 mins drive) were more than sufficient for our everyday needs.We had 3 amazingly clear nights and were treated to the best skies Ive seen since visitng the outback in Australia - even 'STEVE' made an appearance.The only thing to note is that it is the 3rd bedroom (with double bed and bunks) that had the very low door, which makes it a bit awkward for adults,but we made it work.Overall we had a fab time and would love to return." The house is well-equipped, and the pool is great — perfect for a group holiday. We left with plenty of happy memories. The only downside has been what happened afterwards. Two weeks on, we’re still dealing with a waste disposal fine we believe is unfair, with very unclear communication from the host. During the stay, the only issue raised with us was fixed straight away, and nothing more was mentioned. It’s a shame, because instead of just remembering the holiday, we’ve ended up discussing this when we get together.
