Breakfast was excellent. Everything was very clean. Our room had a small private deck to sit outside. Easy walk -15 minutes - to entertainment and restaurants and the ocean.

My wife and I stayed 2 nights and could not have been happier. The house is gorgeous and authentic. Our host, Donna, was very welcoming and detailed upon arrival. She prepared us great breakfasts, delicious coffee and wonderful baked goods. My wife is gluten free and she made special efforts as to satisfy her needs. Donna gave us excellent recommendations on dining and shopping. Parking on site could not have been better, right out front. We walked downtown twice, it is very close. We came as visitors and left as friends. Definitely would be staying here again if we have the chance.

Donna. our hostess, was warm and inviting. She prepared lovely, exceptional hot breakfasts each morning. The location was convenient to both downtown Charlottetown, as well Queen county, and the Anne of Green Gables venues on the north shore. Our room was clean and inviting. Her garden is beautiful. It was so nice to relax and to become acquainted with guests each morning. We seldom take time to relax so this was wonderful. Donna has experience with restaurants, venues, shows, etc. She can offer suggestions to help you with planning your stay.

Beautiful house full of antiques. Well appointed bedrooms with all the comforts you could want. A very gracious and friendly host. She made us feel so comfortable. Charming Gem

Absolutely lovely, heritage home! Donna makes you feel like you are at home with a wonderful hot breakfast. And if you have to leave early, she will pack you an excellent snack. Beautiful location, close to many histroic sites in town.

A get a way @ the Dawson House is a gift to yourself We enjoyed a 2 night stay in Captains Room and were delighted w the attention to detail, the close proximity to downtown and other points of interest. The breakfast was not to be missed both delicious and beautifully presented The innkeeper was wonderful and quickly responded to any needs. We feel as though we made a friend and plan to return

Donna, the owner and our hostess, was a treat. Friendly greeting when we arrived, quickly checked us in, gave us info and a map with reco on where to go and what to do. Our room was quite large and very comfortable. I slept like a log! The homemade hot breakfast was delicious. The home's decor is lovely. Great front porch for sitting awhile. Highly recommend.

We had such a lovey stay at Dawson house! Donna is very thoughtful and sweet, she is very welcoming, provided an excellent restaurant recommendation and made a delicious breakfast. We liked the room decor and the bed. The bed sheets were very comfy. The Dawson house has a sunning decor inside! It is kept very well. Don’t forget to try the pumpkin loaf!!

The check in was quick and thorough, Donna was very down to earth and pleasant . She runs a beautiful Old Victorian house that is so clean and comfortable. It’s extremely welcoming from the first step you take inside the foyer. Breakfast was delicious and the conversation around the table with the other guests and Donna was great! It’s really a small world when you get chatting. We haven’t been BnB guests in the past, but this trip to the east coast has changed our way of thinking.

Donna was a superb hostess, and treated her guest like royalty. She provided us with a sense of calming energy during our stay. The entire property was exquisitely maintained, and we had the good fortune of sharing breakfast with two ladies from the Boston area, where conversation and laughs were encouraged. We cannot praise this B&B highly enough, as we did not want to leave. We will be back again - no question.
