It’s only 5 minute walk. We spent a good bit of time enjoying some of the great restaurants at the mall (Petit Pois, Tilmans, Crushed Pad, The Nook and an Italian place) all with outside dining. So handy to walk back and forth to restaurants and shops from the house. Monticello, Carter Mountain Orchard and local trails are only 15-20 minutes away by car. We had a parking pass to park across from the house. The owner, Ms Sue is on site and lovely to interact with. She provided a delicious continental breakfast. The residence is in an excellent location just a few blocks off the downtown mall area, super convenient to restaurants and local shops without the need to drive. Sue is an absolutely outstanding hostess and we both sincerely enjoyed her hospitality during our two-night stay. The residence and accommodations are exactly as described -- spacious and very comfortable. Sue provided scrumptious continental breakfasts both mornings in her beautiful dining room, fresh fruit and baked goods. We both found the Cape Foster house to be a great accommodation, only amplified by Sue's gracious and hospitable manner. Sue's communication was also excellent throughout the process and there were no issues. Her insights on local restaurants were also spot-on. Sue was a gracious host who made a wonderful breakfast each morning. Our room and restroom were very large, well-decorated and had everything we needed.
