Great location, but significant maintenance and cleanliness issuesPros:Location: Excellent, right in the heart of downtown Charlotte.Cons:Communication: Check-in info was not sent automatically. I had to contact the host after check-in time while waiting outside.Cleanliness & Odor: Strong, pervasive cat urine odor coming from the couch. We had to leave the balcony door open for air, but there was no bug screen.Bedding & Linens: Sheets had debris/particles on them, forcing us to sleep on top of them. No extra sheets, blankets, pillows, or towels were provided. Existing towels were clean but heavily discolored.Maintenance: The front door handle came off completely. When reported, the host stated it was "detachable" rather than broken. Common areas of the building also had left-behind trash and food.Parking & Logistics: Only one parking pass is provided. Street and lot parking rules are highly strict (e.g., no backing in, specific time windows), which would have been helpful to know in advance.Summary: The apartment is smaller than expected, which is typical for the city, but the property is poorly managed. I will not stay here or at any other properties run by this management company again.
