  • We enjoy hosting people and live in a quiet tranquil setting on the Greenway. We live on a cul-de-sac in a peaceful and safe neighborhood conveniently located with proximity to shopping malls & IKEA, UNC University, IBM, Wells Fargo, PNC Music Theater, and the light rail.
    Newly renovated modern and spacious private walkout basement 1 bedroom apartment with full kitchen, king size bed, closet, full bathroom, and screened in porch.

    This is a PET FREE & NON-SMOKING or VAPING unit. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!!

    You have your own parking spot on the driveway with path and motion lights to your private entrance. The lower level with a screened porch is your own personal space. It’s accessible from a private outside entrance directly into your suite, available from the back of our home. We have a spacious backyard that you are welcome to use for your leisure.
    Guest Access:
    We have a convenient 24/7 check - in system that allows you to have flexible times, no matter how late at night.
    We are also flexible with check-in time but contact us if you are planning on checking in early.

    Interaction With Guest:
    It’s your preference!!! We are happy to interact as much as desired. We enjoy meeting new people, but will also respect your privacy. Our guest enjoy the privacy while staying at our apartment, ensuring you can relax and enjoy your stay. We are very responsive by text if you need anything. We live in the upstairs of the home with our children. We usually greet guest upon arrival and walk them to their entrance.

    This is our home & we have children that play and use the yard. While we give you your privacy you may see our children playing in the yard or hear occasional footsteps upstairs. We do our best to keep the noise minimal but you may hear footsteps at times during the day from the kids.

This was a great place to stay during our trip to Charlotte. It’s a great location to everything we visited including the race track, the spectrum center, the race shops and the nascar hall of fame. The check in process was communicated clearly through email and we had no problems at all getting inside. The home is in a very nice neighborhood and we felt totally safe during our stay. We accidentally left a travel bag behind and the owners were great about getting that back to us in a timely manner. We would most definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone considering a couples getaway to the Charlotte area. 10 out of 10 for sure.

Meets All the Basic Needs

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. The kitchen was well stocked and everything was very clean. The bed/pillows and the bathroom left a little to be desired. The noise from upstairs was minimal, which was appreciated. The location is central to so much, which made our exploring easy - it was a great hub for the purposes of our trip.

Peaceful Hideaway

It was secluded, private, secure and conveniently accessible to the main thoroughfares within minutes. The pictures are accurate and everything was clean and comfortable. Although our schedule was filled with activities, our host expressed the availability to meet if we wanted. Awesome place/Convenient location

This is a great apartment in a quiet neighborhood. Clean and well supplied with linens and towels. Countertop space is at a bit of a premium but there are plenty of pots, pans, dishes and silverware. Easy access to the Greenway trail system through a path in the backyard or a paved path one street over. Convenient access to shopping and the light rail into uptown Charlotte. The host is very friendly and responded to all our requests and questions promptly.

Overall, the place was good. Basement in-law suite that you access from a path around the side of the main house. Kitchen had all the amenities and updated appliances. Would not call the apartment modern however. Furniture was a mix of older pieces. Bed had a brick as one of its legs and the coffee station was using a 4x4 piece of wood as a leg. Bathroom needs updating but was functional.

Great Stay and Home Base

The check-in process couldn’t have been easier and the host is very responsive to messages. We had an issue where most of the lights were not working due to a tripped breaker and it was fixed shortly afterward. Otherwise, everything was comfortable. Some people might not like the fact that there are no windows in the bedroom but I slept like a baby because it was so dark and cozy.
