    Escape to this charming updated lake home which is located in a quiet, open, deep water cove, yet only 5 minutes from major shopping, dining, and many types of entertainment. It is also 10-15 minutes to restaurants by boat. The no wake zone makes it safer to swim from the dock and pier, yet only 150 yards from skiing and jet skiing. Location! Check out the map and it's close proximity to, well, most everything. This nicely appointed lake home has everything you need for a relaxing week at Lake Norman, yet feel close to all conveniences.

    The updated kitchen features include granite counter tops and built in appliances. There are dining areas in the kitchen and outside upper deck areas. One bedroom is isolated as a suite with a wet bar and small refrigerator. It has one of the home's two walk in showers.

    Enjoy the morning sun or exercise your shade options by enjoying a number of sitting areas for coffee and visiting. From the large screened in upper deck porch overlooking the lake to the shaded lower deck with another seating area, you can relax and enjoy the wonderful view of Lake Norman. From the sunny lakeside fire pit area to the convenient and spacious dock and pier, sun is plentiful. The sun begins to retreat late afternoon so you can enjoy a peaceful evening viewing the lake. Return to the fire pit area after dinner to enjoy s'mores or build a cosy fire and just relax.

We had a wonderful time at the house. It is a beautiful and comfortable home and a beautiful location. It was a perfect place for our family to spend Thanksgiving together. The Lakeview is incredible.

Great Spot on Lake Norman

The house was clean and comfortable and a great spot to spend a few days on the lake. The screened in patio was the perfect place to relax when not jumping off the dock to swim in the lake. Great communication from the owners as well!

Wonderful stay at this lake house. Beautiful home and property right on the lake. House is also conveniently located close to all shopping you can need. Check process was simple and owners were a pleasure to work with. Hope to return again in the future with my family.

Beautiful home

This is a lovely, convenient home with many amenities. Beautifully decorated and fully stocked. We had 6 adults but it would be great for families too. Very nice neighborhood and quiet cove where boaters respect the no-wake zone. We especially enjoyed the large screened in porch for meals.

A wonderful lake vacation

House was located in a great location on the lake with shade from the afternoon sun to enjoy dock for swimming and large screen porch for relaxing and dining. Home is well-kept and felt like you were enjoying a friend's lake home not a rental. Loved everything about this home. The owners were wonderful. Thank you for a great family vacation.

Have rented the property 4 times in the last year. Excellent home. Very well appointed, easy access to grocery stores/costco. Lots of room for entertaining friends and family.

Absolutely wonderfully appointed lake house. Beautiful and comfortable home. Amazing porch overlooking quiet cove on Lake Norman. Best of show. Tall trees provide shade for the house and even the dock and lake in the afternoon. Deep lake, float in the shade. Little or no boat traffic, no wake zone. Host was great to work with and attentive. 4 adults and 2 young children had a blast. Plenty of shopping (Publix, Food Lion, Costco and Sam’s ) nearby. Lots of restaurants. Trips to college town of Davidson worth the 25 minute drive. Highly recommend

You can stop looking, this is an incredible place to stay! The house is beautiful, and it has a ton of different hang out areas depending on what you want to do. The completely enclosed screen back deck is perfect. Our boys spent hours just jumping from all areas of the dock and loved exploring. Great little cove to swim, float or explore on the water toys. You feel tucked away and on vacation, but it is just minutes away from grocery stores, shops, restaurants, and really anything you would need. Cannot recommend this place more, and hope to be back in the future!

Summer Fun

We loved our stay at the “Duck Cove”!! My family had such a wonderful time. It was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. The dock for sunbathing, kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing during the day. S’mores by the fire at night and relaxing and reading on the screened in porch!! Paul was excellent at communicating and responded quickly when I had a question. We would definitely love to return in the future.

Girl's Weekend Getaway!

This home was a great place for annual girl's weekend. We enjoy the gorgeous views and were lucky enough to have gorgeous weather too! The home slept all 7 of us comfortably and the kitchen was very well stocked! They even scheduled for the grass to be cut and deck blown off right before we arrived (we got there a bit early and witnessed this). We all went for a morning stroll and the neighbors outside couldn't have been nicer! Would definitely recommend for a nice relaxing weekend!

Love this property!

This is a perfect property to get away and enjoy the lake with family and friends. We have rented this home several times and always have a great stay. Lots of space for everyone, well appointed kitchen, the beds are comfortable and the screen porch and lower porch are awesome! Close to shopping and restaurants. Owner’s are easy to work with. Highly recommend.

Very nice

Location was great, house was nice and had plenty of room for all 8 of us. But the outdoor areas were the best!!! We spent 90% of the time either on the screened in porch or by the water when we weren’t boating.
