As others have noted, it is very close to a highway with a fair amount of traffic of all types. This is a good thing if you are driving to nearby locations, not so good if you are walking around the neighborhood. Centrally located between Charlevoix, Boyne City and East Jordan, close to the ferry. While the washer and dryer are listed as an amenity, you need to ask for access. ##### Steven P. Fortunately, road noise while sleeping was minimal. A few more written helps (such as where to find the beach equipment or how to lock the door) would be good. The main bed was super comfy and the towels were fabulous but we like a more robust shower head and a small bathroom table on which to place items. We had such a great time at the cottage! It was the perfect mix of relaxation and fun over winter break! Renita was so helpful with our questions beforehand and it was a super easy booking process. We loved that we were just 10 minutes from downtown for dining and ice cream! And less than 30 minutes from Boyne mountain resort where we enjoyed the Waterpark, the skybridge and snow tubing! The cottage was so clean and had everything we needed! Would love to come back in season to enjoy the summer activities and beach! Our family loved staying here, the location was convenient and the house is so cute. The details were really well thought out for what was needed during our stay- linens, coffee maker, kitchen items, etc were all new and super clean. Beds were ver comfortable. Furnishings were beautiful and I especially loved the artwork. We had two adults and 3 kids and were very comfortable. I let grandpa have the big bed and i slept in the room with my kids. This cabin, however, felt like a wonderful resort. All amenities were thought of, the beds/pillows were SO comfortable. The location to get to other areas like Traverse City and Petoskey was perfect. I realized the day of arrival that I hadn't put our pet down as coming. Renita responded immediately and we were able to get it sorted with no delay in our plans.
