Friendly staff, Very good breakfast, Great parking. Food was tasty and reasonably priced. Well Done! Charleville Park Hotel!! Only 30 Minutes from Limerick which has great shopping.

Hotel in foyer is smart and modern. Rooms are basic and tatty. Need a good overhaul. We booked superior rooms and it wasn’t what I expected.

Hotel is lovely and clean. Staff very friendly and helpfull. Good pool and facilities. Drinks at bar too expensive....pint, wine, 2 cokes over 22e Breakfast was good but dinner was poor

Great staff, from "Snow"'s welcome to Clodagh's farewell we felt valued and cared for - special. The hotel is well appointed, and well positioned for tours of Cork, Kerry and the Midlands. Good food. Comfortable. We'd definitely stay again, which is the best review, surely?

Disappointing experience
The property is run down and needs a renovation. The room had limited supplies, the safe was broken and TV difficult to use. Lunch was very disappointing, soup was cold and toasted sandwich tasted terrible. Salad was stale and inedible.

We might have had high expectations about this hotel, because it has 4 * . The reception and restaurant looked good and upgraded, but the room...not so good. It might have been sometimes back in the 90'. The room we got was on the front side and it was very noisy. The main noise was from traffic. When we first arrived we went down to the reception to get another room, but the girl in the reception told us that changing to the other side will be worse because of the kitchenfan. The location is suited if you have a car and enjoy driving around the Irish countryside which is lovely.

Bedrooms need updating. Stains on the carpet and chair in our bedroom. The mattress definitely felt like it hadn’t been replaced in years . Breakfast staff very nice and helpful

A good hotel to stay with great housekeeping staff
The hotel is a comfortable place to stay and the service and cleanliness was excellent, especially we found the housekeeping staff extremely helpful and kept our room spotless. However the noise from the road was constant and due to the heat we could not close the window even though we were happily provided with a good fan to help the situation. There is a big improvement with the staff who put themselves out to help, from the time we stayed there a few years ago.

Check in spot on, very friendly and nice receptionist’s. Rooms comfy and clean. Evening meals and staff very good and attentive. Breakfast was a different matter food ranged from good one day to terrible the next, tables not cleared or if they was not set for the next people. When we got a table the cups that were on the table were all dirty, complained and got changed but the amount of staff there in the morning them these things shouldn’t happen. Asked for a wake up call as I was leaving early to catch a ferry, no call received so nearly missed my ferry. If the whole experience would have been as good as the welcome I received then I’d happily stay again, unfortunately though it was not. Shame really…..

We had a lovely stay, pool was great, breakfast was great. Room was comfortable but for a family room at the front close to a very busy road we found it hard to sleep even when windows were closed the traffic was bad and continues during the night. If I was staying again I would definitely ask for a room not near the front. Be great if ye invested i a playground for children would be a great asset to the hotel. Very family friendly. Staff were very friendly.

Very good.
Check in, small refrigerator in room, pool that the kids had a great time in (open 8-8 the day we were there. Nice staff. We paid for the breakfast in the morning and it was fantastic. I have nothing negative to report, all good.

We had 2 adults & 2 kids in one room, rooms was very spacious, much bigger than other standard hotel rooms we've stayed in. Pool was fab, would definitely recommend staying here
