It was just perfect! I only have one complaint, I rented this particular room with a door opening outside on the porch to be able to smoke. They still wouldn't allow any smoking outside your door. Unfortunately it rained out entire stay with no where dry to smoke. I understand , but for us smokers it wasn't pleasant. But it is very clean and well maintained with a lot of nice amenities!

The lodging was perfect for our stay. It was in close proximity to a great market and the Breachway. Check in was very easy, the room was very clean and had plenty of sets of towels and derivatives. Comfortable small room. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Happy staff....happy customer. Good luck with the beautiful renovations!

Not a pleasant experience. No staff on premises despite information stating otherwise. No check-in information sent from motel or expedia. Found a phone number on the empty office door to call, took four tries before someone finally answered and told us to use an unlocked room. Room smelled like an entire bottle of pine sol had just been dumped in it. Mostly long term tennants living there, non-stop noise and banging on paper thin walls between 1-4:30 am when I finally gave up and left. Bed had two top sheets, no blankets. Almost $200 for one night of noise and discomfort.

Room was tiny. Barely enough room to turn around. Sliding bathroom door blocked neither the light nor the sound from inside. The mattresses on both twin beds need to be replaced. There is no check-in office. They leave the key in your room with the door open. Would not have known this without running into a worker by chance. The outside is very dark. If we had shown up after dark, not knowing which room was ours, we would have been in trouble!

Appreciated the very clean rooms (had to switch rooms mid-stay). Missing screens in some of the windows which was disappointing as fresh air is a huge plus! Enjoyed the shuffleboard and the fire pit. If we had another day we would enjoy Horseshoes and Cornhole. The staff is extremely nice. Place in clean in rooms and grounds. Fire pits have a started bucket and all that is needed. The flowers and color full Adirondack chairs really add to the comfortable atmosphere. We will certainly be back !!!! A must stay location a few miles away from the beaches. Great place!!!

Great motel close to Charleston beach.

What a quaint, family oriented place. Everything you need, close to everything, very clean, very safe. Plus dog, friendly! Just a heads up; the website says $35 per day is the fee for a dog. I got charged $40 per day, which is a big difference.

A gem of a place!

We loved the place--modern, attractive, well-kept, clean and comfortable (except for the coffee table), and the grounds were beautiful and obviously well-cared-for. We had a unit with a kitchenette, and it was well-equipped with pots and pans, dishes, etc. It even had a washer and dryer! We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Five stars!
