We absolutely loved our stay at The Loutrel! From the moment we arrived, the hotel smelled amazing and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The rooms were beautiful, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and it was the perfect place to return to and relax after a full day of exploring Charleston. We especially loved the complimentary happy hour and snacks — such a thoughtful touch and a great way to unwind in the evenings. The Loutrel made our Charleston trip even more enjoyable, and we would absolutely stay here again!

This hotel is immaculate! Very very clean, attention to details, superb. Staff is amazing and super nice, thank you Brendan. The morning staff at breakfast, specifically Mrs. Brenda and her co-worker, so welcoming, nice, and friendly; made us really feel like family. Truly enjoyed getting to know them over breakfast. Cannot wait to come back!

The hotel is centrally located and full of southern charm and hospitality. Furthermore, it feels like a beautiful home away from home. The Hotel was clean modern and had a sophisticated atmosphere. There is a beautiful light fragrance throughout the facility. Staff from the Front Desk, concierge, and wait staff were all very pleasant. The breakfast provided was top notch and added greatly to the stay. Happy hour with light fare was also very relaxing. The mixologists had terrific skills and made delicious cocktails. All this with its central location makes it an easy choice to pick when visiting the Charleston area.

We absolutely love staying at The Loutrel whenever we visit Charleston. This was our third stay, and it truly feels like coming back to a place that’s both special and welcoming. Everything is always spotless, and the hotel has such a beautiful, cozy feel. We especially love the lobby — it’s so charming and inviting, and it sets the tone for a relaxing stay from the moment you walk in. Really enjoyed our stay at The Loutrel! I would stay here again and recommend it to anyone. Quick highlights: - Great location, walkable to so many things - Wonderful service, helpful and attentive staff - Clean and modern yet still had that Charleston charm - Really appreciated the welcome cocktail and daily happy hour with free drinks and snacks! - Also appreciated the free snacks and drinks in the room - Loved the "DIY" beverage bar that was out at all times with fresh flavored water and accompaniments (and much needed in the August Charleston heat!!) - Delicious included breakfast with a lot of options Truly felt like a luxurious, relaxing get away. We enjoyed a wonderful weekend stay at The Loutrel. Our room was very spacious and staged with everything we might have needed including complimentary snacks and beverages and quality linens. The staff was amazing. Everyone stopped to say hello. Our two kids enjoyed the snacks and drinks. They liked hanging out in the mezzanine lounge. Look at the parking lot over here. This is probably just a drive-through.We enjoyed the bar. The choices were great for kids and adults.
