The room was large, clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was outstanding and had good variety. We would definitelt consider staying here again.

No power, no lights

We got to the hotel at 3:00 and found that there was a power outage. They said that they were expecting it to be fixed in an hour or so. It was after 9 p.m. when the electricity finally went back on. There was no air conditioning, no hot water,we couldn't charge our phones or tablets the halls were totally dark and we had no door keys until they were delivered at 11:00 p.m. I realize that the hotel can't do anything to prevent a power outage, but they didn't compensate us in any way. We were without transportation since we were taking the shuttle to the airport the next day, but nothing was within walking distance so we couldn't go anywhere else to get cool. This was in mid June. They even said we shouldn't use the pool since the water wasn't circulating. The suite was very clean, but much smaller than several other Residence Inns in other cities where we have stayed. The staff and breakfast were very nice, but all in all not a very pleasant stay. Marriott should step in the offer something to guests in instances such as these if they want to retain customers.

It was easy. Everything work. Much efficiency. Comfortable. Breakfast was ok. Ok for continental. Room was a little run down but clean I really like Hampton Inns

Clean Comfortable & Close By

Location: The city of Charleston is not a place that I felt completely comfortable. Would have liked a better restaurant, but couldn't find anything nice.
Nice staff, very clean hotel in a nice, quiet area. I had a plane to catch at 6:00 am, and it was less than 5 minutes away from the airport. A little tricky to get to because it's on top of a hill, but it's very nice once you find it.

We had planned trip to Mexico for s year. Reserved two nights. One at start and one st end and leave our car there because it's park and fly. We get there fri. Leaving at 4:30 am for airport. We check in and the guy tells us they are paving parking lot so we can't leave our car. Then after being irritated by that I go to room. Take s shower and there is no blow dryer. Wow. I think even Motel 6 has blow dryers. I haven't traveled with a blow dryer in 15 years. So at 11:00 I ho to be with wet hair. First World problem I get. But still .......

No parking

The parking lot was completely full requiring guests to park on the street. There is no provision for cars with trailers or trucks. Recommend against staying in this hotel.
