"The Hotel is boutique and offered a very cool and hip ambiance with a Rooftop bar and Starbucks down below. We had a Queen bed and the room is very small like European style, but kept clean. No closets or dressers, but offered a unique peg system across the room and down the hallway with suitcase slips under the bed. The staff was very kind and offered information to help with your vacation. I am not accustom to having to assertively get the attention of wait staff, but they were accommodating and attentive once you have been recognized. Parking was street parking and was atrocious unless you wanted to use the $35/day USD for valet. Not the most favorable option. All in all, we give it a 3.5 out of 5"

"The first room we had, the tv went out and it stayed out for 24 hours. When we told one of the young ladies at the front desk, she wasted no time accommodating us with a better room. It was greatly appreciated."
The Restoration

"The Restoration is a perfect property at a great location to explore everything Charleston. Restaurants, bars, museums and shopping are all short walks from the property a half block from King Street. The staff is friendly and helpful. They truly make you feel like family. The property is well kept and clean. There is a coffee shop on the bottom floor and a happy hour in the afternoons in the library. The rooms are large and a continental breakfast is included every morning. I strongly recommend this property and will be staying here again in the near future."
The Palmetto Hotel

"The Palmetto is a beautiful hotel. Our room was comfortable, the bathroom had an amazing shower and was spacious. The staff were friendly and attentive. The Continental breakfast was delicious. The location is perfect. Within walking distance to many attractions, restaurants and retail shops. Things to be aware of are there is not a dresser for clothes in the room, but there is an armoire for hanging clothes. Also, there is not pool or fitness center in the hotel. They do offer free passes to a gym a few blocks away, which was nice. Overall a wonderful hotel and I would definitely recommend it."
