Daily wine and cheese reception is very nice. The room was very comfortable, my only wish was for a microwave oven and an in room coffee maker. Great location. Entire French quarter is walkable. Friendly staff. Our room had it's own private patio. We stayed on ground level. No bugs. Everything is expensive there, including this hotel but it was by far the most bang for your buck! Staff were friendly and helpful. Happy Hour was a nice touch. The property could use a bit of a refresh and I heard other guests complaining about the in-room AC units being loud or not working efficiently. We might stay again, but it’s an expensive area of Charleston for lodging and I wouldn’t call this a bargain.
