Thank you for leaving us a fantastic review! We apologize once again for any confusion regarding the extra guest fee. As we explained, at the time of your reservation confirmation, the accurate guest count was not input. Otherwise, the additional guest fee would have been remitted at that time. The extra guest fee is not for guests exceeding our maximum capacity, but for the additional expenses incurred in accommodating larger groups of people, such as utilities and restocking supplies. Douglas, we truly thank you for your time and business with us. We appreciate any and all feedback, as we strive for all of our guests to experience amazing times at our properties. We're really sorry to hear that you were not completely satisfied with your stay. We understand how frustrating technology can be at times when it does not deliver as it should. We were quick to remediate this issue and re-sent all of the information you needed promptly to ensure your check-in and stay was as smooth as possible. Out of the hundreds of stays we've had at our home, we have not had a complaint about the beds. We aim to provide a type of mattress that will please most people, by providing a medium firmness bed. We've personally stayed at the property during our own vacation and slept in this bed with no issues. We understand not every mattress type is suitable for every person. We appreciate you bringing your concerns about the cleaning supplies to our attention so we could resolve these matters straight away. The vacuum operates fine for us, and we left two trash bags under the sink and one in the trash can. We are sorry you were not able to locate these and would have been happy to help, had we known. We understand that the owner resides on the property and had a few encounters with you (including the conversation you had with the owner after letting their dog out of its outdoor dog kennel without permission); we advise in the future, to please bring these concerns to us, as the host, and/or the owner, if available. That's what we're here for and would have been more than happy to assist, as opposed to informing us after you've departed. We also were not aware of this issue you experienced with the pool table and truly thank you for letting us know. It's nnoted in our listing description that the owner lives on the property and is always available should you need anything or have any questions or concerns, and that all of the outdoor areas are common areas to enjoy. We're sorry to hear that this detail was overlooked, as this has not been an issue with other guests while renting the property in the past. The owner is very respectful of guests' privacy by giving them space during their stays unless needed. Otherwise, we're happy to hear that you and the grandkids enjoyed the games and the peaceful environment that the property has to offer.
