"Pet friendly, but remember a crate bc they don’t want pets on their furniture. Luckily they were nice enough and let me use some crates that they had. "

Hilton Vacation Club The Historic Powhatan Williamsburg
8/10 Good
"We stayed here for 5 nights with 7 adults and 3 kids in the four-bedroom, two-story suite. There was plenty of space for everyone. Upstairs had a king bedroom and a queen bedroom, and downstairs had another king bedroom and a room with two twin beds. The layout worked really well for a group our size.
About halfway through the stay, housekeeping came through for a quick cleaning and gave us fresh towels and washcloths and restocked things like dishwasher tabs and dish soap, which was nice.
We only really used the pools and mini golf. Both were good, and having multiple pools around the resort was a big plus. We stayed during the last week of July and were surprised by how quiet the resort was.
The main reason I gave it 4/5 instead of 5/5 was that there were some pretty obvious signs of aging and maintenance issues. One of the sliding doors leaked pretty heavily when we had a downpour, and the other wouldn't open without jumping off the track. There were also multiple spots around the pool where the tiles were starting to pop off.
We stayed here mainly for a trip to Busch Gardens. It was about a 20-minute drive, but it was an easy drive. There were also plenty of restaurants and grocery stores close to the resort.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of room for our group, the resort was quiet, and the location worked well for us. Even with some of the maintenance issues, we'll definitely look at staying here again the next time we plan a Busch Gardens trip."

"Disappointing Front Desk Receptionist
Clean Property, Great Restaurant Staff—
The hotel itself is clean, comfortable, and a nice place to stay. The morning breakfast team and restaurant staff were fantastic—friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay.
Unfortunately, our check-in experience was very disappointing. The male front desk agent who checked us in was impolite, rude, and unhelpful. Instead of assisting us, he made simple things unnecessarily difficult.
While the property and restaurant team are wonderful, the front desk service needs significant improvement.
The female front desk was also nice"
"Really enjoyed our weekend at the Jefferson leaving the hotel only once. Got massages, a pedicure, swam and relaxed in the salt water pool and outdoor deck and ate all our meals at their Lemaire restaurant. The hotel is beautiful with quite a history. Our room was very spacious with spacious bathroom as well. The staff were uniformly so pleasant and helpful. There is outdoor parking lot right next to the hotel (valet or self) for a fee. Highly recommend for an upscale hotel experience."
